The original destination that started my planning of this whole trip was Kyrgyzstan. As the countries on my route grew, I still always planned to have Kyrgyzstan as a base in September, and to spend my 30th birthday there.
However, with recent political instability and ethnic violence, I’ve had to be open to changing plans. I’ve been keeping an eye on international news as well as travellers’ experiences in Kyrgyzstan, but just in case I reroute in August/September, where should I go?
